Rafael Ruiz joined Wollastons in 1995 and became a partner in 2001 specialising in corporate and commercial law.
He has experience of corporate mergers, acquisitions and disposals and advises clients on general corporate governance issues, shareholders' agreements and corporate recovery and insolvency.
On the commercial front, Rafael has experience of a wide range of commercial matters, advising clients on agency, distribution, franchising and other commercial arrangements, including the licensing and exploitation of intellectual property rights.
In particular Rafael has extensive experience of advising clients on outsourcing and facilities/building management contracts. That experience includes advising some of the country's largest providers of security, cleaning and other buildings maintenance and support services, in respect of public and private sector facilities throughout the country, including key transport and infrastructure facilities such as airports and rail facilities.
